Last Friday, we met with our realtor and a guy named Ray (very friendly, a little sweaty) to do our home inspection. I liked Ray as soon as he welcomed us to "Bawlmer" and referenced Holmes on Homes. He was thorough, patient, and helpful (and, importantly, registered with the American Society of Home Inspectors). Overall, the process was definitely informative, especially about the basement. We learned a lot about how everything works down there, from the water turnoff to the sump pump to the air filtration system. Here's to hoping the seller listens to our man Ray.
